It's been four weeks since we returned to a stationary life in California. I kicked and screamed the whole way back, feeling really depressed to leave the highway and Lucille behind. Adam, in his calm cool voice was constantly reminding me how fortunate we were to be on the road at all, for eight months in fact! I knew he was right, it just felt like this really sad breakup between us and the road. It was like we told Lucille it's not you, it's me and drove away with her protected from the snow storm in my parents barn all alone without a chance to explain.
That may sound a little dramatic but that's pretty much how it went down. So, what does this look like for Lucille and Found? I'm not really sure yet, other than I know we are going to be shifting some gears over here with new content and items in the shop. It's going to represent a new chapter--one still filled with adventure, roadtrips, dinner parties and a whole lot of ranch life! Oh, I forgot to tell you...Gromit, Adam and I are living on a ranch in Santa Barbara county. Many good times, vibes and outlaw stuff with our friends to come!
Also, I didn't get to say this yet. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH for all the support you gave to us while we were on the road. It was a pleasure to share glimpses of the trip with you all in our very tiny corner of the internet! You all rock!
