The Turquoise Trail June 11, 2014 Mary Hall There are two roads between Albuquerque and Santa Fe, one a major highway and the other a road known as the Turquoise trail. Guess which one we took? The road passes through about four or five towns, each very small and very artistic. The creativity that comes out of that 45 miles of two lane asphalt was astounding. It's now a rule of ours to stop anytime of the day to drink a beer out of a boxcar if it's serving. Lucille parked on the side of the road in Madrid, NM.
