Lake Powell June 26, 2014 Mary Hall We stopped at Lake Powell to camp for the night before heading to Buckskin Gulch in the morning. We left the rainfly off to sleep under the stars but pitched the tent to deny the aggressive swarm of summer mosquitos. Adam woke up for the sunrise, thankfully, or I wouldn't have known how beautiful it was. I am the blob still snoozing in the tent. Lake Powell was really beautiful in the morning before all the boats flooded the lake and the lifted trucks came crashing over the sandy shore.
